Construction of the New Honda Grand Prix 2012 Starts!

Just a little more than one month time remaining for the new Honda Grand Prix 2012 at St. Petersburg, which has been scheduled to take place from March 23rd to March 25th 2012!

Recently, the construction process of the event was initiated by the automaker, and St. Petersburg has started welcoming many world-class fast cars, top-notch drivers, and auto racing enthusiasts from all around the world.

This year’s episode begins a 16-race Indy-Car Season with halts in United States, China, and Canada. The previous year’s champion Dario Franchitti and the runner-up Will Power, both are coming back with their teams in order to shield their titles.

Honda to Make Jet by Next Year

Japan’s No.3 automaker expects to grab at least a quarter of the world market in other business, by building aircraft by next year in order to accomplish brand’s goal of flying to the skies.

They have received more than hundred units of seven-passenger jet when it started taking the orders in 2006, promising to deliver a jet with quieter engine and better fuel economy than the competing aircrafts.

Honda Jet will make the company another title of car maker, owning their own aircraft. They are not expecting huge profit in the very first year of launch; however, they are expecting to be in a good position by 2018.

New CR-Z Wins Wheels Car of the Year

Magazines say that the vehicle was impressively efficient, expertly engineered, and had good enough safety credentials.

The new CRZ sports car will set new Benchmark for the hybrid versions. The vehicle runs with the combination of electric power and petrol. It is also a fun to drive, lighter, smaller, more efficient, and also enjoyable.

The price of the vehicle starts at $34,990 for manual transmission and the CVT version is retailed for $37,290 and the luxury version is priced at $40,790.

Honda Pursues its Environmental Vision

The famous Japan-based Honda Motors has been continuing its long-standing promise to sustainability, reducing carbon dioxide emissions released in the manufacturing process of motorcycles, cars, and many power products.

The automaker has been executing proactive measures to help tackle environmental problems for more than 5-decades, and in 2006, it became the first carmaker in the world to announce controlled global targets to promote reduction of CO2 emissions.

The company’s 2011 yearly environmental report reveals a development in the energy competence of its fabrication operations, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 4-percent for cars, 9.7-percent for power products, and 5.1-percent for motorcycles.

The carmaker has set a new target for itself to reduce product-related CO2 emissions by almost 30-percent by 2020.

Honda Sales Figures Drop to a New Low in 2011 November

In the month of November 2011, Honda motors have reported total sales figures of about 1982 units. Since the beginning of 2011, everything has been going absolutely wrong for the Japanese auto legend.

Just when the company was recovering from the big production fall caused by Tsunami in North-Eastern Japan in March 2011, which wiped out nearly 6-production plants and component suppliers, the company has happened to witness another disaster in the form of the natural floods in Thailand this November.

The recent disaster has put the company’s vehicle production behind by nearly 5-months, which eventually forced the automaker to abandon its total earning forecast for 2011.

The shortest of components has severely affected all the vehicle models marketed in India.

Honda Natural Gas Car Wins La Green Prize

2012 Civic Natural Gas was awarded Green Car of the year. It was held at LA Auto Show beating the finalists from US, Europe and other Asian carmakers. Japanese car maker welcomed the award.

As per the experts, it is not only a great vehicle but also demonstrates Honda’s commitment in offering various alternatives to gasoline.

It is the only factory-built and CNG powered car manufactured in America. As per the company it went on sales in October for $26,155. The company is also planning to expand its retail network to 200 dealers in 36 states.

CRV is a small compact station wagon (now known as Crossover) developed from the house of Honda motors since 1995.

It was loosely derived and developed based on the Civic design platform in order to meet the needs of its consumers for a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

Issues With Honda CRV

The new CRV is a compact 4-door CUV from the Japanese automaker, Honda. It was marketed initially in Japan and later in 2007 it came to North America.

The vehicle was completely redesigned in the year 2002. Though it has got good safety features, several common issues have also been reported.

Transmission Problems

Another common source of problem with CRV involves transmission. CRV is released with several transmission options, including automatic and manual models. Automatic models are sometimes prone to transmission fuel leaks. You may also experience excessive noise during shifting.

Climatic Control

Other common problem in the CRV involves climatic control for air conditioning and heating systems. Problems in air conditioner begin with faulty condenser. Few owners have reported that there are problems related to the leaky heater cores.

Mechanical Recalls

The New CR-V has been Unveiled for US Market

The new fourth generation CR-V has been recently revealed in the United States auto market, and it has been scheduled to go on sale in autumn 2012.

The new vehicle is being developed at Swindon, and previously its concept version was released, which clearly displayed the new direction of styling for the upcoming model.

Compared to the earlier gen model, the new concept seems to be more aggressive with deeper carving of the exterior body lines along with a bolder front-fascia.

It is expected to come with improved aerodynamics with lower front bumper wrapping slightly upwards, resulting in smooth integration of the lower front-bumper design into the front fascia.

It will retain its unique vertical headlights, with a more 3-dimensional style. Even the fuel economy ratings of the 4th gen model are more likely to be increased considerably when compared to the present gen MPG ratings.
