All CRV Sports Utility Vehicles that were produced between 2002 and 2004 model years, and Pilot SUVs that were introduced as 2003 models are included in this recall.

The company has identified some potential faults with the headlight switch in most of these vehicles. The fault could result in fainting of low-beam headlights, thus increasing the threat of a crash. But, as of now, the automaker has not yet grasped any reports of crashes or injuries related to this particular problem.

The company officials have told that they will start alerting all owners of the affected vehicles in late April 2012. All certified dealers of the company will be instructed to properly inspect the headlight cabling, and substitute the faulty components free of cost.
